Wild Card Review

Jason Statham plays a slightly different hand with the Las Vegas set in the new movie Wild Card. Its almost as if his lack of star charisma actually makes him charismatic in a working-man sense. The rest of the film proceeds in more predictable fashion. In gambling terms, Id say I broke even. Wild Cardis out in theaters and on VOD Friday, January 30. Rating: 3 out of 5

How Agent Carter gets the female comic book hero right

No latex, no drooling, no preaching has Marvel’s Agent Carter mastered the comic book heroine? Warning: contains mild spoilers forAgent Carter. Sadly, both productions essentially missed the point.
