There are so many ways to read comics in these days.

Which one is right for you?

There has never been a better time to read comics than right now.

And this is true in print as well as digital.

But that makes for some confusing purchases.

You could get the new Spencer Ackerman/Julius OhtaIron Manin singles, or wait for the trade?

Believe it or not, Ive thought a lot about this, and I have some advice.

First,if you like it, there is no wrong way to read it.

Comics should be read to your hearts content.

And Ive never met a group of people more excited to get requests than librarians.

Now onto format specific recommendations.

You should check out a streaming service ifyoure planning to race through a huge backlog of books.

I have LOTS of recommendations for what to stream atMarvel UnlimitedandDC Infiniteif thats whats holding you back.

But that was actually a lot of fun!

And I find a certain collectors wanderlust pushing me to start thinking about other runs, too.

If you get that feeling, hit those back issue bins at your local comic shop!

These are, to me, the best bang for your buck.

Fancy editions are a wonderful way to collect the stories you love the most.

Absolutes come in slipcases with a ton of secondary material.

Artists Editions are laser focused on showing off a particular artists process and work.
