Multiplayer ones are particularly great for social gatherings, if youre into that sort of thing.

SNES

The Super Nintendo Entertainment System, AKA the SNES, followed in 1990.

It went on to become the best-selling console of the 16-bit era.

And when the Color version of the handheld hit, it was a completely different ball game.

This ones a bit of a cheat.

20 of them are pre-loaded on the equipment.

But still, a classic gaming completist will want this gem from 1985 in their collection.

If you look in the related items, youll find numerous Sonic games.

Presumably, that wasnt the case for all of them.

It wasnt the first or last Sega console, but its definitely the most iconic.

But the console still has some things going for it.

The fact it runs on CD-Roms was a first for Sega at the time, for example.

And it still sold 9.6 million units despite being deemed a flop.
