You know what the best thing about Jeff Stokelys art is?
I feel like Im 8 and seeingVoltronfor the first time.
But Ill be damned ifMonstresswasnt one of my most pleasant surprises from last year.
I dont think it will win, though, because its a one-off.
And thats okay to me, becauseFresh Romanceis really good.
Its good enough to deserve an Eisner simply on the quality of the comics that have been put out.
It was probably really uncomfortable to create, but it was far more entertaining to read because of it.
