Charlie gets his hands on James Horner’s score for Avatar.
And there’s a bit of Leona Lewis too… Having not actually seen the film, I can only speculate.
But as far as the album goes, its not necessarily as traditional as some would like.
Dont expect an instantly gratifying pulse-pounding blockbuster score, becauseAvataris something else entirely.
One thing I can say about the score is that its emotional and incredibly evocative.
Which is a good thing.
All eleven minutes and twenty-one seconds of it.
The best way I can sum this up is to say War, how I love thee.
Not in that way though.
Of course, this is James Horner.
Already, Ive heard people saying it sounds likeGloryorBraveheart, and also invoking his past musical crimes.
So is James Horner back with a vengeance?
It certainly deserves to.
