Theres something inherently optimistic in that fact, which is central to the ethos of the Fantastic Four.
They arent driven by the need to stand up for the innocent or to protect others.
In fact, they arent driven by a relationship to evil at all.
Instead, they believe that something wonderful, something fantastic, exists out there in the unknown.
Attempts to move the Fantastic Fours origin out of the early 60s have lost that sense of optimism.
Things have gone bad in-universe, too.
These anti-heroes will make their debut inThunderbolts, scheduled to release two months beforeFantastic Fourhits theaters.
They also bring a much needed breath of hope and optimism to the MCU.
No, it wont be all sunshine and roses.
But the FF have faced hardship before and theyve always gotten through it together.
