Teen comedies manage to get even worse as Fired Up races to the bargain bucket.

They are that brand of smooth that only exists in movies.

They do everything together, including chat up lines.

Nobody trusts them, but everybody likes them.

The only girl who seems to not like them is Carly, the head cheerleader.

But, this isnt all about girls in sporty tops… theres a message here… somewhere.

Their opponents in the cheerleader stakes are The Panthers.

Theyre not nice or sweet.

This, like so many plot points in the film, isnt very important at all.

Imagine a giant list of teen stereotypes and youve got the whole of the character list.

In between all of this, theres nudity, cheering, football, sexist innuendo and puerile humour.

Extras

The Making of Fired Up!

shows how the film was put together.

The Gag Reel Uncensored is cringe worthy and puerile.

Im not entirely sure if this is deliberately in keeping with the film.

The commentary isnt great, but it isnt awful.

Theres an element of self congratulation in it that made me want to turn it off.
