George Clooney recently admitted to being a little irritated with Quentin Tarantinos thoughts on his career.
He could have a point.
Listen, I did a movie with Quentin, Clooney pointed out.
He played my brother.
He goes, Hes not a movie star.
And then he literally said something like, Name me a movie since the millennium.
And I was like, Since the millennium?
Thats kind of my whole fucking career.
So now Im like, all right dude, fuck off.
I dont mind giving him shit.
He gave me shit.
But his status as a movie star A-lister probably wasnt cemented until around Y2K.
Around the same time, though, Clooney was also saying yes to every project that came his way.
The image has stuck since Clooney is still partnering with Pitt on Apple TV+s upcomingWolves(hence theGQinterview).
