With Gotham season 2 on hiatus, we ponder its big mystery who killed Thomas and Martha Wayne?

Will it really be Matches Malone, as teased by a possibly lying Silver St.

The Wayne-esque necklace found in his flat made it any easy case to close.

Of course, this was too good to be true.

We can rule out Mr Pepper, then, unless Heller is plotting some major backtracking.

The triggerman has a similar frame to Fishs at-the-time loyal lieutenant Butch Gilzean.

He cant stop Fish, so hell have to stop everyone else instead.

The Wayne murders did indeed shake the criminal underworld of Gotham City.

Bruce spends years investigating the murder of his parents, believing there to be a grand machination behind it.

The sort of thing he hasnt given much thought to.

The sort of thing that happens every day, to good and honest people.

Its my personal favorite theory, but that doesnt mean its right.
