Gotham gives us one of its most Batman-y episodes yet, with a Bruce storyline befitting The Caped Crusader.
This Gotham review contains spoilers.
Perhaps even more importantly, it gave us the most Batman-like Bruce Wayne weve seen yet on this show.
Heres everything that went down…
Its good that youre changing.
Just dont change too much.
Good advice from our girl Selina Kyle to Bruce Wayne.
He and Selina worked together to trick Silver St.
Cloud into revealing the name of Bruces parents killers.
We dont know if its the right name.
He was capable of whispering into her ear that he cared about her and that he trusted her.
He was capable of making her believe his lies.
To make her believe that both Bruce and Silvers lives were in danger.

It was all a ruse, of course.
One designed and executed by both Bruce and Selina together.
They work well as a team.
In Gotham, you have to grow up quickly.
Selina knows that better than anyone.
Or perhaps just as well as Bruce.
Ironic, given that we (in theory) know exactly where Bruces storyline is going.
Jim continues to carry Gotham on his shoulders.
I feel like were in that kitchen every week.
Lee says the same blandly, comforting, yet kind of critical things back.
Yes, if Jim had killed Flamingo last week, Parks might still be alive.
But that doesnt mean Parks death is his fault.
A not-casual structure Gordon still has immense trouble grasping.
Get creative, show.
Side note: those shots of Jim and Bullock walking through the sewer werebeautiful.
Also, the on-pointedness of Bullocks one-liners may be the most consistent thing aboutGotham.
True Life: My Roommate is a Serial Killer.
The gift that is Ed and Penguin as roomies continues!
This was a small element of tonights episode, but a fun one.
like let this storyline continue,Gotham.
The monks have the son of Gotham.
Can we make that into a t-shirt or something a la The angels have the phone box?
Like, right now?
In the Wayne Manor library?
…Is Selina still hiding in the curtains?
Not sure if I care.
Idocare, however, that this show continues to underutilize Arvin Sloane.
Ialsocare that Alfred didnotlook good last time we saw him.
Alfred cant die, right?!
