Whats it like coming onto that set?
What was the process of filming the stunts?
Tom has this mantra, Dont be careful, be competent.
Careful, for me, implies fearfulness.
Competent was a really useful word because it was active.
But with [Mission: Impossible], you cant trust that.
That freedom meant in each scene and stunt I had to make it make sense to me psychologically.
Its clear what the objective is, getting away from something or getting to something.
How was acting in theMission: Impossiblefranchise different from the MCU films youve been involved with?
Well, theres no CGI, no muscle suitsthats all Tom.
That really is him.
The characters are wildly different.
Grace is a lone wolf, shes unpredictable; shell hope for the best and throw herself into something.
In terms of character, they are very different, but my approach was very much the same.
