Its quite a grim story, and one thats actually very well thought up and delivered.
The game itself isnt all that bad, and it is an enjoyable affair.
And by overly linear, I mean that you dont even have to think about what to do next.
Come to a door blocked by an overturned fridge or cupboard?
Hell, you cant even open a damn door on your own without an AI ally kicking it down.
Now, this is noBattlefield-style cover destruction (which does feature in limited doses), orCoDbullet penetration.
Its just bad development.
In fact, so problematic is this, that youll often meet your maker without knowing why.
Sometimes youll looks at the game and think, Yeah, that looks cool.
While other times youll be struck by low quality, murky textures and ugly animation.

I couldnt help but findHomefrontto be a bit of a disappointment.
Its an FPS-by-numbers and not much more.
