Head back to the 80s as Hot Tub Time Machine arrives in high definition.
But theres not much on the disc to get too excited about… That said, Ive maintained since I first saw it thatHot Tub Time Machineis a blast of a comedy.
Its not a great one, and inevitably the concept is better than the end result.
Hot Tub Time Machines concept is wisely kept simple.
Theres a hot tub.
It is a time machine.
And inevitably, its here where the film is at its best.
And, without giving anything away, I really liked the ending a lot.
And I cant help thinking thatHot Tub Time MachineandGrosse Pointe Blankwould make one hell of a double bill.
The Disc
Ah, now heres an area of the package that lets the side down.
The extra features, though, are weak.
Granted, in amongst the deleted scenes you find on the disc is some material thats chuckle-worthy.
Still, at least the films a hoot….
