Calling it a comic book show is misleading.
There are no costumes.
There are some understated super powers.
But theres nothing youd consider superheroic.
Theres just tremendous storytelling and performances.
Seven episodes in, and theres no danger of any of that to be found here.
Kilgrave isnt a problem Jessica can solve with her fists, although youll desperately want her to.
Its difficult to find fault within these seven episodes.
Jessica Jonesis more than Marvels most mature effort, or its best small screen one.
You dont have to like superheroes to enjoyJessica Jones.
In fact, it might be better if you dont.
