Josh Brolin valiantly tries to make Jonah Hex work.

Sadly, he’s onto a major, major loser here.

And Megan Fox doesn’t help, either…

Jonah Hexis a questionable property to adapt.

For one, its out of DCs traditional area of expertise.

Theyve mostly had success with big budget capes and cowls flicks involving Batman and Superman.

The steampunk/weird west setting is one that is really difficult for audiences to accept.

If Will Smith couldnt do it during the heights of his celebrity power, nobody can.

As I said above, the cast is game.

As for Megan Fox, the less said, the better.

Its like Jimmy Hayward went to the Roger Corman school of film padding.

Surely something had to hit the cutting room floor to make the movie so minuscule.

I mean, significant portions of Hexs origin were summed up in voiceover and montage!

The one good thing you could say aboutJonah Hexis that theres a lot of what could be considered action.

Instead, we get the processed product of big studio filmmaking.
