Does this Texas Chain Saw Massacre prequel deserve to be shredded?
As with all prequels, they shouldnt have bothered.
That is what makes him so frightening.
After that its just the inevitable slog toward the pre-ordained conclusion, the curse of all prequels.
None of the other characters register as anything resembling people we might care about either.
With any luck, the franchise runs out of gas here.
