The first twoKung Fu Pandamovies both hit big, and the third sees Jennifer Yu returning to direct.
Furthermore, the second film left things primed for a third movie to pick up.
Jack Black is back as the voice of Po, too.
How much of it becomes a Superman story remains to be seen.
And the next five or six years of Warner Bros blockbuster output is hinging onBatman v Supermanbeing a success.

Theres one live action character in the movie, with newcomer Neel Sethi playing Mowgli.
Justin Marks has penned the script.
As such, theres no Kristen Stewart this time around.
Jessica Chastain, Emily Blunt, Nick Frost, Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach are also aboard.
Frank Darabont was once going to direct this one, and hes likely to keep a screenplay credit.
But its Cedric Nicolas-Troyan who will be calling the shots now (marking his feature directorial debut).
But crucially, this sets in motion events that lead toAvengers: Infinity War.
Furthermore, the film is no small event in itself.
2016s first (but not the last) will be the latest reboot ofFriday The 13th.
No further details are known at this stage, though.
Angry Birds May 20
The animated adventures ofAngry Birdswill form a full movie from Sony next summer.
The voice talent here includes Peter Dinklage, Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad and Maya Rudolph.
The UK release for this one is currently set at 1st July.
Rose Byrne is back too, after sittingDays Of Future Pastout.
This time, Jonathan Liebesman is passing the directors chair on toEarth to Echos Dave Green.
Megan Fox and Will Arnett are returning, whilstArrows Stephen Amell will be playing Casey Jones.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be reprising their roles too.
Its going to be loosely based on a true story once again, and production starts this summer.
For the purposes of clarity, the Enfield in the title does indeed refer to the London suburb.
Maybe this is the start of a London Suburb Cinematic Universe?
Isla Fisher isnt returning, though, so Lizzy Caplan takes her place.
Director Louis Letterier isnt back either.
Instead, Jon M Chu (G.I.
Joe: RetaliationandJustin Bieber: Never Say Never) is calling the shots.

However, this is another movie where we wonder if the announced release date may yet move.
The screenplay is coming from Melissa Mathison, who of course pennedE.T.for Spielberg decades ago.
Samuel L Jackson and John Hurt are also on board this one.
Perhaps the only doubt over the project is its release date as things stand.
