Sam Jaeger will play Michael, the stepfather of 16-year-old Charlie (C.J.

Valleroy) and father of his own teen daughter (Zara Zoe).

Joe Johnston will direct the pilot, written by Chris Black.

John McNamara andSupernaturals Sera Gamble penned the script, with Michael London and Janice Williams producing for SyFy.

The show will film in New Orleans.

The streaming service, thankfully, has never been scared of genre projects, either.

The residents begin to search for answers, uncovering government secrets, supernatural forces and one creepy little girl.
