Zack Snyder’s Star Wars-like epic for Netflix has finally screened for critics.

As you likely guessed,Rebel Moonfollows a similar setup to the galaxy far, far away.

Massive scale, beautiful visuals (of course), awesome action, and some really fascinating mythology.

Theres lots of exciting set-up for whats to come, but its still very satisfying as its own movie.

Zack Snyder’s#RebelMoonis a sci-fi greatest hits tape.

Zack Snyder builds a Sci-Fi world that could easily have infinite stories being told about it.

Visually very handsome and flows well but suffers from Part One Syndrome.

I would be lying if I said I wasnt keen on The Scargiver now though!

I’ve seen#RebelMoonand it is a visually awesome and epically ambitious ride.

While not perfect, this first part will definitely leave you wanting more.

#RebelMoonis a blast!

A mythological greatest hits that simultaneously chronicles Zack’s filmmaking journey.

Like a Heavy Metal, James Cameronish remix of Star Wars.

Feels a bit like a love letter to Star Wars.

Can def see the nods.

Wanted more of some characters (Djimon Hounsou).

Overall, a great intro to this universe.pic.twitter.com/ksvR6V06Wu

Astounding… What a spectacle.

An original sci-fi space opera with an incredible vision.

Zack Snyders clunky execution makes even the most basic drama feel tedious.

Rebel Moonwill receive a limited theatrical release on Dec. 15 and will then hit Netflix on Dec. 22.
