Giri hasnt been mentioned in previousStar Trekentries, so its hard to know exactly how she relates to Khan.
The more confusing element may be the basic timeline itself.
However, Aloks story clearly takes place on the original timeline.
Thats especially true because theres value to Aloks story.
If just for that reason, Aloks story is worthwhile.
