It really seems as if M suspects C all along, but maybe thats because we do too.
Upon arrival, Bond breaks his restraints, overpowers his captors and kills them.
Now he has a gun and he knows where Blofeld is.
So, did Blofelds plan for this confrontation hinge on Bond killing his men before they brought him in?

Monogamy probably wont suit 007 very well and if it does, it can only lead to tragedy.

But as the credits always promise, he inevitably will.
