Prior to seeingThe Forest, I had very little knowledge about Aokigahara Forest or its disturbing legacy.
Yet, everything Ive read since about this location has been fascinating.
It is also apparently haunted by Yurei, a most malicious bang out of angry spirit.
Want to guess if the legends are real?
But these elements are ultimately window dressing to a far more familiar yarn of workmanlike scares.
In short, the Suicide Forest reaches to deeply buried impulses that Sara has hidden from all her life.
A rather pleasant one at that.
