In between those two, Tarantino considered making his own version.
AndKurt Russellwould play the sheriff, and [Adam Driver] would play Rambo.
The Inglorious Basterds would have also made an appearance in the movie.
Instead, it was Tarantinos 10-film rule andhis reluctance to end his career with a franchise picture.
According toDeadline, Tarantino changed his mind about the project after rewriting the script.
Where does that leave us now?
Whatever he decides to do, its clear that Tarantino has plenty of options for his 10th film.
