Castle is informed of the escape and follows Russoti and immediately dispatches a thug whos exiting a toilet.
Turns out that this isnt great for Rusottis skin as hes left horribly disfigured.
He then sets out to seek revenge by kidnapping Donatellis wife and child and killing the Punisher.
Now, I approached this movie with an open mind.
I should have gone with my initial instinct not to watch the movie.
Its really not very good.
The rest of the cast are, without exception, awful.
Prime example being Doug Hutchison as Loony Bin Jim.
Another thing that really irritated me was the Oirish Parkour gang.
Dominic West was a huge disappointment.
Sadly, hes poor here.
But given the quality of the material, its probably a lucky escape for Considine.
On to the director, former stuntwoman Lexi Alexander.
Its a little OTT on neon on occasion but, that aside, is quite effective.
Unsurprisingly, she wants nothing to do with a follow-up.
Frankly, Id be stunned if there was one.
This had a budget of around $35 million and took about $10 million worldwide.
Apparently, Stevensons keen at reprising the role and fancies directing it.
The transfer is very good here.
Visually the film is very strong, indeed.
The sound is also good.
The transfer far exceeds the quality of the movie.
So, not all bad then.
ExtrasExtras are not exactly extensive but fairly interesting.
