Theres a section of devotedStar Trekfans who really dont like what JJ Abrams did with his reboot.

But then, arguably, it was never set to be a film for the hardened Trekkie/Trekker.

As a piece of action cinema,Star Trekwas also something quite special.

Sherlocks Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Noel Clarke are amongst the talents on show.

Either way, this is the sequel to beat next year.

Cuaron, of course, was the director of 2006s stunningChildren Of Men.

Gravitymarks his return to the sci-fi genre, and his first movie in more than six years.

Children Of Mens critical acclaim didnt, sadly, trigger a stampede at the box-office.

Heres hoping that 2013 proves to be Cuarons year, and thatGravityfinds the audience it deserves.
