Just what are the finest screen roles of Mr Nicolas Cage?
He can be a little hit and miss, to put it mildly.
Whether this works or not is debatable, but when hes good, he can be very good indeed.

David Lynchs 1990 adaptation of Barry Giffords novel is a somewhat divisive movie.
Leaving Las Vegas
Both Shue and Cage give amazing performances in this emotionally exhausting film.
For me, Cage hasnt been better than he was here.
There are plenty of laughs throughout the film, but its one thats full of heart as well.
Like many of his other roles, its a little OTT, but its absolutely brilliant.
