What happened in Westworld season 1?

She was also seen listening to instructions she heard in her mind in the voice of her creator Arnold.

The phrase triggers Dolores past memories to return to her in brief flashes.
A new host was brought in to play Dolores father.
We see Dolores being repeatedly questioned by Bernard in secret about her thoughts and feelings.
He gives her the choice of freedom versus servitude and she chooses freedom.
Its not confirmed whether Bernard killed Elsie.

Technology had rid them of errors and mistakes that led to new advances.

First she kills a fly, then she shoots a gun and kills a host assailant.
Through repeated cycles of suffering, the hosts have been learning how to defend themselves and wake up.

Maeve and two fellow hostswild bandits Hector and Armisticestaged a breakout from the lab.
(Peter Abernathy is significant because hidden inside his programming is the code for the Westworld park.
When Sizemore went to retrieve Abernathy, he and the rest of the cold storage hosts had disappeared.
Clementine reappeared as part of Dolores army, and shot the Man in Black.)
She exercised her free will and instead went to track down her daughter in Park 1.
