Its been a chaotic few years for American quiz show institutionJeopardy!

And Jennings, with his built-inJeopardy!history and improvement behind the lectern, was the ultimate choice.
Unfortunately, doing so hasnt been so simple.

Thus far, no episode inJeopardy!season 40 has followed that format.
The Second Chance Tournament began in 2022 gives another opportunity toJeopardy!contestants who just missed out on winning.
So the good news here is that we know whyJeopardy!hasnt aired a normal episode in some time.
The bad news is that we dont exactly know when it will.
