I mention myStar Warsexperience because my recentDestiny 2experience feels very similar.
But while my initialDestiny 2experience was very positive, that veneer started to wear thin after a while.
However, a game likeDestiny 2doesnt end when you complete the campaign, it essentially begins.
Unfortunately,Destiny 2is not that game.
WhileDestinycould be played in isolation, it was a game designed for collaboration.
And as such, the very best rewards were only available from the toughest challenges.
Thats whatDestinywas about community.
And then there are the perks themselves.
Why not have different load out options for PvP and PvE?
Would it really be that hard?
I cant help but wonder if the problem withDestinyas an entity is one of identity.
WithDestiny 2Bungie has addressed the latter, while making the former a bigger issue than it has ever been.
Instead they rely on initial purchase price, and the cost of regular DLC updates.
Its Ewoks or Wookies, Bungie, you cant have both…
